Fall Things

I’m not sure if my memory is simply terrible or my brain puts up a mental block when it comes to the weather of seasons past, but I do NOT remember Vancouver being so gorgeous last October. I remember the sunshine of August being glorious, and the rain of November being pure hell, but in the 7 years I’ve lived in Vancouver I have never noticed the magical changing of the season that is fall. So to pay homage to this beautiful city and season, here are a few fall photos and things:

Fall paths:

Fall stews: Jamie Oliver’s melt-in-your-mouth stew

Fall baking: Chewy chocolate chunk coconut oatmeal cookies made with coconut oil {via ambitious kitchen}

Fall leaves:

Fall duckies: Did you know Hunter makes duckies? I can’t seem to find them anywhere online, but I scooped these up at Nordstrom’s Rack in Seattle.

Fall soccer practice in the fog:

Fall darkness:

Fall sunshine:

This PNW-inspired cocktail.

The perfect music for right now: Colin Cowan’s Fall Paths.

    • Danielle that sounds like the most perfect fall afternoon of all time! And I’m so glad I’ve been able to get you hooked on things! This is That is one of my favourite shows in the universe, but I have to say I’m a tad bit bias as my husband produces the show. Thanks for reading Grown-Up Party and I’ll try to keep the good things coming!
